U19 Girls Tackle

Offering girls-only tackle divisions fosters and develops opportunities for girls to play football with and against other girls. This division provides a unique opportunity for our communities female youth to create long lasting bonds and friendships within the new, but fast growing female football community.

The focus of this division is to keep our girls active in sport, develop skills and football IQ, and to coach teamwork and sportsmanship all in a competitive but fun environment.

Gameplay: This division currently plays full field 6-a-side football.

Why 6-a-side? It is fast and exciting alternative to traditional 12-a-side football that gives more opportunity for athletes to develop and be involved in the game, as well ensuring exposure to multiple positions in the game.

Eligibility: Females ages 16-18 years old (born 2002, 2003 & 2004)

Season: Practices begin mid-February. Game play begins late March and finishes mid-May.

Games: 1 game per week (pre-season jamboree, 4 regular season games and 1-2 playoff games)
