CDMFA is proud to recognize the accomplishments of our athletes and coaches at all levels. The Fall Awards are specifically for our U13 and U16 Divisions. Listed below are the awards that will be presented each year, along with a brief description and/or criteria for nomination.

Junior Coaches at CDMFA are young people, many of whom are either current players or alumni. This award recognizes their dedication and commitment to the sport of football and their teams. Nominations are by current coaches and the recipient is chosen by the CDMFA Awards Committee.
Presented based on the post-game feedback forms completed by the coaches. Recognition of an individual who upheld an excellent standard of communication with coaches, took the initiative to educate players, and served as a positive role model for Football for Life for all members and participants in the football community.
Nominations for this award are made by the various coordinators at the U9/11 game hubs based on performance during the current season. The final selection is determined by the Director of the CDMFA Officials Committee.
Youth sports organizations such as ours cannot exist without volunteers. CDMFA has over 1000 rostered volunteers who coach, manage, train, and serve on their boards and committees … and that doesn’t take into account all those who organize fundraisers, cook hot dogs, and bring the team snacks. The CDMFA Volunteer of the Year Award recipient is representative of all those who have given of their time and talents to make the season so successful. Nominations are open and the recipient is chosen by the CDMFA Awards Committee.
Trainers are volunteers who are essential to the game of football. They manage the team EAPs, administer medical attention, and monitor the health and well-being of the team. For youth football this also means making sure everyone is fed and hydrated, communicating concerns health and safety concerns between the coaches and parents, and in some cases administering pep talks and hugs. CDMFA is proud of the hundreds of certified trainers who commit so many hours to ensuring the safety of everyone in the game. Nominations are open and the recipient is chosen by the CDMFA Awards Committee.
Awarded to the club who had the highest rate of growth year-over-year.
Selected by the CDMFA Executive Committee to recognize an individual, a team, a committee, or a club who takes the initiative to find new and creative ways to promote the sport and grow the football community.
Aims to provide financial support to deserving student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional skill, commitment, and leadership on the football field and in the community as a whole. Eligible graduating U16 CDMFA players who will be pursuing football at the high school level the following year must complete a written application and supply a reference from a coach they have played for. Submissions will be reviewed, and the recipient chosen by the CDMFA Awards Committee.
